Commencing 1 January 2011, the federal government will introduce a lodgment fee which is anticipated to be in the vicinity of $200 – payable by consumers wishing to make a proposal under Part IX for debt relief. 

This fee is payable before documents are lodged with the Insolvency Trustee Service Australia.
